Junior Oil Barons Graduating Award

The Junior Oil Barons program is built on a foundation of leadership, community, and a commitment to personal growth. We believe in developing well-rounded athletes who demonstrate strong character, give back to their community, and lead by example both on and off the ice.

Participation in hockey requires dedication and discipline, and we believe that a strong focus on education is equally important in preparing players for success in their next stage as students and athletes.

To support this commitment to growth and development, the Fort McMurray Minor Hockey Association is proud to offer a $1,000 scholarship to two graduating players from the Junior Oil Barons program who are pursuing post-secondary education.

Recipients of this award must exemplify the values of the Junior Oil Barons program, with a strong emphasis on leadership within the community and a demonstrated commitment to being a positive role model as a JOB player.
