DDJ Hockey

DDJ & MW Hockey -Joint Development Sessions

Dan Hodgson & Mark Wait
Dan 780-215-8888 / Mark 403-473-4331
hog22@live.ca / mwhockeydevelopment@gmail.com

Cost: $320.00 per hour
Together, MW Hockey and DDJ Hockey are offering a joint development session for teams that involves
both player and goaltender skill development on the same ice time.
A practice plan will be developed for a team that encompasses both player skill development and
goaltender development. It will consist of two head coaches (one for players and one for goaltenders)
and any assistant coaches as deemed appropriate by MW Hockey and DDJ Hockey.

A typical ice time will include player specific development and goaltender specific development, working
on their own with their respective head coach, followed by an intertwined practice where the players
can utilize the goaltenders to better work on their skillset, while the drills will be tied into what the
goaltenders worked on as well. As most teams only have two goaltenders, if minor hockey wanted to
reach out and have up to 4 goaltenders, that is also fine.

working with kids from age 6 to current Pros.
Dean will be using his hockey background as a foundation for success on the ice. He will be using the
EdgeBoss apparatuses to further develop players. Today’s game is all about edgework, but most
importantly believing and trusting in your edges to give you that extra step to rise above your
opponents. Coach Dean’s sessions are designed to get players out of their comfort zone and expect the
unexpected as they stickhandle through and around the apparatuses while getting an endless amount of
puck touches. All players can skate, but the ones who can stickhandle with the puck flawlessly while
regaining speed and agility, will separate them from the rest.

Ali Myers is our “new development coach” from Seed & Sprout Nutrition for the

Registered Dietitian since 2014. Ali attended Georgia Southern University on a swimming
