FMMHA RUNS ON VOLUNTEERS

Volunteering with the Fort McMurray Minor Hockey Association (FMMHA) is essential for our community and the growth of our young athletes. Each registration requires a 5-hour volunteer commitment per child, allowing us to provide better coaching, more development opportunities, and a stronger hockey community.

By volunteering, parents help ensure our events are well-organized and enjoyable, creating lasting friendships and memories for both athletes and families.

Your involvement is crucial to the success of FMMHA and the positive experiences of our children.

VOLUNTEER AWARDS

FMMHA is pleased to present our annual awards to deserving individuals! Without our volunteers, our organization would cease to exist. While we appreciate and acknowledge every level of participation and service, we are proud to recognize outstanding contributions in several categories. This year, we honor the Coach of the Year for both Travel teams and WBHL teams, the Manager of the Year, and the Volunteer of the Year in two categories: Executives, Directors, and Chairs, and General Overall. Thank you to all our volunteers for your dedication and support.

The Volunteer of the Year Award recognizes outstanding contributions and exceptional service in two categories: Executive/Director/Chair and General Volunteer. This award honors individuals who have demonstrated excellent communication skills, leadership, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

The Manager of the Year award recognizes one manager across all programs who has made an outstanding contribution to FMMHA during the current season. The recipient will have exceeded the minimum guidelines and standards set out by FMMHA in managing their team, provided invaluable support to coaches and parents, and played a crucial role in the team's success

The Coach of the Year Award recognizes outstanding coaching achievements and contributions in two categories: Rep Travel Teams and WBHL (Recreational) Teams.
