Travel by Bus

FMMHA strongly encourages the use of buses for out-of-town travel, but it is not mandatory.

What is mandatory are our expectations on a bus when contracted by a team:

• Seatbelts are a must when travelling. All passengers are asked to wear their seatbelts at all times.
• We ask that coaches and managers set out the guidelines for all bus travel prior to departure. This includes the avoidance of unnecessary movement on the bus. Children are to be seated and buckled up at all times. Children are never permitted to sit atop blankets on seats or on the floor of the bus.
• The consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted on the bus.

Teams need not be concerned about obtaining liquor permits for bus travel as FMMHA requests that there is NO consumption of alcohol on the bus.
