FMMHA has taken Hockey Alberta’s Vision and Mission statement and developed our individual association philosophy to deliver our minor hockey program:

• Pathways for Every Participant: Offer a variety of development streams aligned with our five foundational pillars—Huskies, Junior Oil Barons, Inclusion Royals, Wood Buffalo Hockey League, and Officials—to ensure every player can participate at a level suited to their skills, while fostering growth, fun, and a positive experience for all participants.
• Developing Participants for Life: Foster a passion for hockey by creating a competitive environment where players build lifelong skills, develop character through leadership and resilience, understand the value of hard work, and engage in meaningful community involvement—preparing them for success on and off the ice.
• Removing Barriers: Proactively identify and reduce obstacles to make hockey more accessible and affordable for all participants.
• Volunteer Engagement: Provide meaningful volunteer opportunities that promote personal and professional growth, strengthen our organization, and give back to our community.
• Fair & Transparent Operations: Establish and maintain clear policies and procedures to ensure consistent, fair, and transparent operations across all teams and programs within FMMHA.
