FMMHA Annual General Meeting & Executive Board Announcement
We are pleased to announce that the Fort McMurray Minor Hockey Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place at Frank Lacroix Arena on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 7:00 PM.
Executive Board Nominations
Nominations for the 2026 Executive Board have now concluded. We are pleased to introduce the following candidates who have accepted their nominations:
- President (3-Year Term): Steve Schreyer
- Vice President of Administration (2-Year Term): JodyAnn McSkimming
- Vice President of Finance (2-Year Term): Greg MacAulay
- Vice President of WBHL Hockey Operations (2-Year Term): Ed Gardiner
As no additional nominations were received for these positions, and in accordance with our bylaws, these positions are acclaimed and will not require an election. The new terms will officially commence at the AGM.
Referee-in-Chief Announcement
Following the FMMHA application and selection process, the Executive Committee is pleased to announce that Dave Connell has been selected as the new Referee-in-Chief.
Dave has been an active and dedicated member of the officials program for several years and will receive continued support from outgoing RIC Dylan Routhier during the transition.
FMMHA would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dylan for his hard work, collaboration and dedication in growing and developing our officials program over the past several years. While we are sad to see him step down from the role, we are excited to see Dave step into the position and continue building on the strong foundation that has been established.
